River Valley. Golf and Tube Slide. They know how to make the most out of the hills. I don't know much about the tube sliding aside of it is likely cold. Do they heat the inner tubes? I should hope so. I do know about the golf, so let's stick with that.
River Valley is (was) one of London's best kept secrets. Just go north to #7, east across the river and turn left. After a long, country lane type drive you will see the club house.
During the week you can golf 18 holes with a cart for $25. That is a hard deal to beat.
The "valley" part of their name very much comes into play. You are hard pressed to find a flat piece of ground and some of the greens are a nightmare. Sound scary? It's not. It's golf. You play with the cards you are dealt. No. Wait. That's poker, but I think you get what I mean. It is a wonderfully challenging course. And scenic? Like a nature walk.

There's more. There is also a cabin with 4 well appointed rooms. There is a full kitchen, living room area, gas bbq and a fire pit. Through the week you can get the cabin for $50 per person per night. This includes 18 holes with a cart. If you can beat that deal, let me know ASAP.

Downstairs there are about 8 bunkbeds if you want to go with a big crowd.
At the clubhouse there is a dining room with two great patios and enough space to accommodate any function. The food has never disappointed.
During October they will be running a tournament every Saturday. The cost is $38. This includes 18 holes with a cart and dinner. Let's hope the weather is cooperative.
